Well known and respected designer and author Hugh St Clair has launched a fabric collection, “Zanzibar”. Geometric and abstract forms in Spice Island colours contrast/ combine with indigo, stone and sand tones to give a heady cocktail of glamour warmth and texture.

Zanzibar is printed on 100 per cent natural hemp. The strong but tactile quality of the fabric makes it ideal for upholstery, and its weight ensures that it hangs beautifully when used as curtaining and drapery.

“I wanted this collection to bridge the gap between plain and pattern. The Zanzibar collection presents pattern in a controlled way providing a strong point of interest in a minimal interior and an anchor where there are strong patterns in a scheme”
